Laurie Lulu Martin is the director of Blue Amber Belly Dance in the Tri-Cities, WA area. She began her study of American Tribal Style® bellydance in 2005, started drumming and studying world rhythms in 2006 and has established herself as a well-informed teacher, an enthusiastic student, and a performer who enjoys dancing and drumming with members of her tribe in her many travels around the globe. She is a 2015 graduate of the inaugural class of Advanced Teacher Training.
Angie Never is the director of Sacred Shimmy Tribal Bellydance in Columbus, OH, where she has been creating high-energy live music Tribal performances for more than a decade. She began her study of music playing double bass in the Orchestra in grade school and spent time performing in a variety of classical, jass, vintage, and rock ensembles, but was truly happy to find a home for her musical experience in her bellydance performance.
These two dancers from different sides of the country were roommates at Homecoming 2016 who discovered a mutual love for the sound of live drums and a passionate commitment to high quality experiences for students.
